3 Things to Do In Pasay City

Revisiting favorite spots as well as discovering new ones in Travel City

Checkout the entertainment scene

Among the many exciting things Pasay city is known for, its entertainment complexes are in the top-tier. It’s home to the biggest mall in Asia, nostalgic amusement parks (who hasn’t been to Star City?) and world-class casinos. Do some retail therapy or early Christmas shopping at the mall then go for a leisurely stroll along bay. Maybe get on the Ferris wheel to get a panoramic view of the city. For some grown-up entertainment, have a drink or two in some of Manila’s best nightclubs, like Universe in Resorts World Manila or try your luck in table games—but just for fun!

Star City is open daily

Mondays to Thursdays, 4PM onwards

Fridays to Sundays, 2PM onwards

Soak up some arts & culture

Pasay is also home to the performing arts and several museums. The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) offers a showcase of artistry like no other. If it’s your first time, join the guided tour so you can learn about the center’s history and its beloved artworks and museum. In any case you’re coming to visit during the holidays, why not see the ballet; there’s the very groovy Awitin Mo At Isasayaw Ko by Ballet Philippines. Museums in the area are also worth a visit, like the Philippine Air Force Aerospace Museum. Make sure to take a selfie at The Aircraft Park, where you’ll find PAF’s historic aircrafts. Cap off your visit at the Wine Museum Hotel & Restaurant and indulge in an exceptional Spanish fare paired with a bottle of red from their excellent selection of vino. Too lazy to drive? You can also opt to stay the night here.
