Kapitolyo Restaurants We Love

But we’re totally willing to share

The past few years have seen some major developments in several industries. Travel has gotten easier and technology has gotten almost scarily advanced, but our favorite by far is just how many great food places have been popping up. From food trucks to food parks and gastropubs to salted egg anything—we quite literally have our mouths full. And one of the best places to visit for that guilt-inducing yet satisfying feeling of gluttony? Kapitolyo.

Caution Hot!

East Capitol Drive, Kapitolyo, Pasig

If you have a hankering for some ramen, you cannot go wrong with Caution Hot! And if you do go wrong, it’s totally your fault. This restaurant allows you to customize your own ramen bowl because it gives you the responsibility of choosing the broth, the noodles, the toppings and how spicy it is. But for those of us who are less kitchen-versed, Caution Hot! does provide its own mouthwatering suggestions.

Café Juanita

W Capitol Drive, Kapitolyo, Pasig

Café Juanita may not be new to the scene, but it’s become a staple for families who just can’t put their finger on what cuisine to eat. Their well-curated menu consists of some of our favorite Spanish dishes, but there are also some Pinoy classics and even Japanese choices to get your hands on. Whatever you pick, you’re sure to make your tummy happy.

Yuan Asian Bistro

Birxton Street, Kapitolyo, Pasig

For a taste of all the best that Asian food has to offer—whether mainstream or off the beaten path—Yuan’s versatile offerings are sure to satisfy any craving. And if you’re feeling really adventurous, they do fusion like no one else can. Chicken Tikka over some Nachos? Ribeye with wasabi? Yes please.

RUB Ribs & BBQ

East Capitol Drive, Kapitolyo, Pasig

Sometimes nothing will hit the spot like good old American food, which means a lot of meat slathered in some sauce. RUB has become a spot to go to because of their signature sauce and their melt-in-your-mouth BBQ ribs. You’ll also get your choice of generous sides, whether grilled butter corn, garlic spinach or potato fries. So don’t worry, get in there and get your hands dirty

Kanto Freestyle Breakfast

1st Street, Kapitolyo, Pasig

You might think the night is young, but the closed restaurants around time usually prove otherwise. Fortunately for us, Kanto is open 24/7 and serves up breakfast dishes that always somehow hit the spot. If you’re feeling slightly picky, you can even make your own breakfast plate—just remember to leave space for the Orea Cookie Butter Pancakes.

The foodie in you looking for a new spot to call home? Kapitolyo is waiting.
