Wagyu Places For Every Budget
Eat your favorite Wagyu cubes without breaking the bank—unless you want to
Out of all the cuisines in the world, Japanese is one of the most popular. It’s something that everyone in the group can usually agree on. And when the restaurants serve some great Wagyu cubes, it’s practically a no brainer.
Several Japanese places serve Wagyu cubes, but they aren’t all made equal. And—maybe more importantly—they aren’t priced equally either.
Little Toyko, Makati
Little Tokyo is a small group of restaurants in the quaint heart of Makati. And among these restaurants are some of the best Wagyu deals you’re going to find. Among them is Izakaya Kikufuji. The place offers some of the freshest sashimi around, but it’s their Wagyu cubes that really keep us coming. For just P125, you’ll get four cubes that literally melt in your mouth.
Tori Tori Kushiyaki Snack Bar
Addition Hills, San Juan
If you like your meat on sticks, Tori Tori Kushiyaki Snack Bar has a wide selection for you to devour. The space itself is designed very simply and you’ll immediately notice how entering it allows you to leave behind the noise of the city. And like Kikufuji, this place serves its tender Wagyu cubes in fours for just P125.
Bonifacio Global City, Taguig
This place only gives you the best, because Buta+Wagyu serves only A5 Grade Wagyu that is either freshly flown in from Japan or from fresh organic pork that is raised in Tarlac. The restaurant offers Japanese and Korean cuisine, so you can have your pick of other options as well. We suggest the Wagyu Nigiri, which is priced at P450 for two pieces.
Little Toyko, Makati
Urameshi-Ya is most popular for its unlimited yakiniku, which includes scallops, oysters, shrimps and sausages. But for P500, you can also fill up on Wagyu cubes until your heart is content. Don’t let yourself get overwhelmed and enjoy the treat, but do get there early. They don’t accept reservations and the cubes sell like crazy.
House Of Wagyu
Mall of Asia Complex
As its name implies, House of Wagyu specializes in Wagyu and everything they serve is of high quality. If you think you tasted great before, that word will have a new meaning once you taste this restaurant’s dishes. You can get the Top Sirloin Grade 10 for P1900 (220 grams) or you can go for their premium menu, which includes Saga Rib Eye Grade A4 for P5300 (220 grams).
For every craving, there is an answer. So the next time your mouth starts to water for Wagyu, keep these places in mind. We promise you’ll leave satisfied.
