#StyleInspo For Date Night: What To Wear For All Kinds Of Dates

Casual, flirty, home-bound, cocktail and formal, here are your pegs for tonight’s all important #DateNight

Happy Valentine’s Day! The day is finally here: Street vendors are selling roses, more people are wearing red and there’s an overall feeling of lightness and love. Single, taken or it’s complicated, there is still a reason to celebrate February 14th, and what better way to celebrate than to dress the part?

Today we look to some of the biggest names in style, on both the international and local stage, for our #StyleInspo. These girls know their style and they know how to work it well. I’m sure they won’t mind if we use them as our pegs tonight.

Kendall Jenner: Casual but composed

For those of you lucky girls who are making a whole day affair out of Valentine’s Day, or are going out for the upcoming weekend, look to Kendall for inspiration. The 21-year-old model knows what model-off-duty looks like, and the equation is simple enough that even we mortals can copy it.

Selena Gomez: Flirty but not excessive

For a night out for dinner and drinks with your special someone, a flirty yet subtle look is the perfect way to go. Selena has somehow perfected the balancing act between cute and sexy, and you can, too. Plus, it can double as a girls’ night out outfit for those that are celebrating friendship, or singlehood, tonight.

Solenn Huessaff: Cool and collected

Anyone else think that Netflix and Chill is an appropriate Valentine’s Day date? Well, we think it is, but that does not mean a basic white tee and denim shorts. Not for tonight, anyway. Take a page out of Solenn’s book and wear a comfortable but stylish top over of a pair of distressed shorts.

Kim Jones: Girly and romantic

Kim may not be as well known for her romantic looks as she is for her enviable beach wear, but the girl can definitely turn heads in a simple cocktail dress. For the romantics out there, a white dress will never go wrong. Be comfortable the entire night in a breezy dress and snuggle up with your date for warmth or bring a jacket if it’s too early for that. #LandiResponsibly.

Heart Evangelista: Formal but fun

Who better to look to in times of formal wear than Mrs. Chiz Escudero herself? The actress, model and designer knows how to dress the part in a formal setting without being stiff and uppity. She’s the perfect peg for a night of fine dining, but you might want to opt out of the seven inch heels.
