Our Favorite Mother-Daughter Fashion Duos

Take your cues from these fashion duos.

Most of us may have put the matching-with-your-mother trend behind us, but it’s (usually) never a bad idea to get some fashion ideas from mom. After all, we can’t deny that she’s the first person that influenced our style.

When you need some inspiration for cold weather style, look no further than Tweetie De Leon-Gonzalez and her daughter, Sabina. Both ladies know how to keep it simple and classic with neutral coats, chic black leggings and booties. Tweetie kept it more mature with her oversized coat and bag, while Sabina had a little fun with the silhouette of her jacket.

There’s nothing wrong with matching with your mother, especially if she’s often a staple in the fashion scene. In these looks, both Apples and Sam opted for a statement blazer in neutral tones. Sam kept it young by sporting some tailored shorts, while Apples rocked a pair of crisp pants.

Just because your day isn’t packed does not mean it’s an excuse to dress lazily, as Phoemela Baranda and daughter Kim have proven. On the contrary, it’s the perfect opportunity to mix it up. Pair a loose tee with a high-slit skirt and heels like Phoemela, or go for some distressed jeans and studded boots like Kim. The results are so different, but both completely on point.

Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber

When all else fails, choose a flattering print. Despite her mile-long legs, Cindy opted for vertical striped pants and a plain black top – trendy and incredibly stylish. Then there’s Kaia who decided to dress up her rather basic ensemble with a long printed kimono.

Vanessa Paradis and Lily-Rose Depp

But when all else fails and all you’re looking for is comfort, then slap on an oversized sweater and bring your best accessory with you – your mom.
