#WomanCrushWednesdays: Zoe Kravitz

She’s not just the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet

Zoe Kravits is the 28-year-old daughter of musician Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet. Her stepfather is Jason Mamoa. You have to admit that with a lineage like that, it’s wouldn’t be hard to get overwhelmed. And yet Zoe has used the resources she has in order to step away from the shadows of her parents and make her own path.

She’s an actress.

One of Zoe’s first acting jobs was a short stint in No Reservations with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Aaron Eckhart and Abigail Breslin. She was also in X-Men: First Class, where she portrayed Angel Salvadore/Tempest. And in the Divergent series, she plays Christina of the Dauntless faction.

Zoe clearly has a knack for playing rougher roles and we wouldn’t have her any other way.

She’s a musician.

When she has the time to spare from her acting jobs, Zoe fronts Lolawolf, an R&B and electropop duo with Jimmy Giannopoulos. The two released a self-titled EP in 2014 and then a full-length album, Calm Down, in the same year. In 2015, they released Every Fuckin Day.

She’s done her parents—and us—proud with everything she’s released. Just give her music a listen, and you’ll understand what we’re talking about.

She’s stunning.

While there’s no point in denying that she got her talent from both her parents, we have to say that she got her mother’s stunning beauty. She’s rocked multiple hairstyles and can enviably pull off a platinum blonde pixie cut.

She’s stylish.

But we have to say, what we love most about her is her style. Zoe has an eye for girly yet edgy pieces, and she works her ensembles with confidence and poise.

And while she looks amazing on the red carpet, we can’t help but give our hats off to her street style as well. Comfy yet always chic and incredibly double-tap worthy.

Keep slaying it, Zoe. Please don’t mind if we take a page out of your book.
