The Cast of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix 11 Years Later

Where have the years gone?

In 1997, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone was published and started a cult following that has not slowed down despite the decades that have passed. Movies were made, young actors became international celebrities and written words became dialogue and song.

The fifth movie, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, was released in 2007 and it would be an understatement to say that the cast has grown and changed in the eleven years since. They’ve departed from the world of Hogwarts, shedding their robes, dropping their wands, growing beards and changing hair styles.

Nothing quite proves how many years have gone by quite like a before-and-after—so let’s get started.

Where have the last 11 years gone, huh? Well, that doesn’t seem to really matter as fans of the franchise will continue to give life to these characters and their stories. As Professor Snape said, this kind of love is for "always."
