If you’ve ever set your eyes on seeing the Enchanted River in Surigao but never had the chance, Laguna’s Bukal Falls is a pleasant alternative. With a few hours on the road from Manila, you can visit the pristine waters and stunning natural architecture.
Anguib Beach, Sta. Ana, Cagayan
White sands, uncrowded shores and blue waters—what more could you ask for? Sta. Ana, Cagayan is a legitimate road trip away from Manila, but it is well worth the travel. Anguib Beach one of those stretches of sand that aren’t frequently visited yet, so you’ll definitely have your time to relax. You can even light a fire at the end of the day and just watch the stars pass you by.
Masungi Georeserve, Rizal
To burn off any extra energy you have, take a trip to the Masungi Georeserve in Rizal. You’ll be able to see the rock formations, flora and fauna that the entire project is working to protect. The trail makes use of rope courses and you’ll have to cross bridges at notable heights, so make sure to pack your sense of adventure!
Kamiseta Hotel, Baguio
